I’m an educational consultant working in ELT. I believe the best way to innovate second language education is to combine academic research, the techniques of specialists (hobbyists, teachers, translators, students), and personal experimentation. I spend about half of my time in Istanbul, Turkey, and the other half in Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA.

I don’t work for Teach Yourself, Pimsleur, or Assimil, but I’m a shameless shill for them nonetheless. I do, however, work for English360, an innovative education start-up.

I blog about language education and publishing here.
